Grottaferrata is the richest and most elegant town of Castelli Romani, in which the unique Italian Byzantine-Greek abbey founded in 1004 A.D is located.

Rocca Priora is the highest hill of Castelli Romani. It’s a forgotten gem unknown to tourists, with its medieval castle, ancient church and breathtaking views above Rome and the Apennines (it stands at 768 metres above sea level!).
